In 1896, Adolf Lamprecht founded an enamelling and die-cutting works in Penig, Saxony, thus laying the foundations for the company that today trades under the acronym “Alape”. Since relocating in 1954, Alape has been producing individual washplace solutions for private and semi-public spaces in Goslar, Lower Saxony. Its success is founded on its glazed steel washbasins and washstands, as well as on a unique symbiosis of craftsmanship and technology within the manufacturing process. (by Atrium)
