Architonic has produced a film made by Director/Camera/Editor Daniel Nelson featuring London-based industrial design duo PearsonLloyd discussing their particular design approach, with visual references to their exhibition at September 2013’s London Design Festival.
London-based studio PearsonLloyd will be unveiling a new exhibition at Great Western Studios, London, a key highlight of which will be the unveiling of a collection of street furniture for the historic city of Bath in the UK. A range that includes benches, cycle stands, wastebins, bollards, street-trading units and water fountains.
London-based designers PearsonLloyd continue their long term collaboration with Italian furniture brand Tacchini with the launch of ‘Galleria’, a modular seating system for public spaces.
The London based design studio PearsonLloyd designed this new upholstery series consisting of armchair, two and three-seater sofa for the Italian manufactruer Alias, shown at the Salone del Mobile for the first time. ‘Eleven’ is composed of slim legs in cast aluminium connected to a steel frame which supports the voluminous seat, back and armrest cushions. A restraint but beautiful detail is the stitching of the textile covering.
Designjunction is the exhibition of several British labels at Zegna headquarters on Via Savona during this year’s Salone del Mobile. Modus will be on show with a whole range of new products by namable designers such as Michael Sodeau, PearsonLloyd and Claesson Koivisto Rune.
After several joint projects ‘Lox’ is the most recent result of the collaboration between the British designers PearsonLloyd and the German manufacturer Walter Knoll. Composed of a plastic shell, optionally upholstered, and two different bases, a four-star or a tubular steel base, the swivel chair is an all-rounder for lounging and dining, conferencing and contract.
The London based design duo PearsonLloyd will present their newest creation for the British label Modus at this year’s London Design Festival within a beautiful installation at the Modus showroom. ‘PLC’, a modern version of the archetypal wooden cafĂ© chair will be showcased as an installation that features up to 36 unique colours exclusively produced for the event.
