'Flying Rings' shelf by Monica Förster for Gärsnäs

Citing the ‘Roman rings, agile gymnasts and virtuoso acrobats’ as an inspiration, the renowned Stockholm-based industrial and furniture designer known for her bold yet effortless and pared-down style has realised this series of shelving units for the Swedish manufacturer Gärsnäs. 'Florinda' chair by Monica Förster for De Padova

Stockholm-based contemporary Swedish designer Monica Förster has created a series of joyfully-coloured chairs called ‘Florinda’ for the Italian manufacturer De Padova. Presented during this year’s Salone del Mobile, the lightly-structured stackable design comes in solid beech finish which is juxtaposed with colorful seat, back and optional armrests. (more…)

'Grand' sofa by Monic Förster for Offecct

The Swedish manufacturer Offecct presented a wide range of novelties during this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair – amongst pieces by Claesson Koivisto Rune, Luca Nichetto and Mario Ruiz this new large and generous sofa by the Swedish designer Monica Förster. ‘Grand’ comes in a right, a left and a straight version with an accompanying footstool and an optional divan.
