With this in mind, young British designer Benjamin Hubert has created ‘Pod’, an oversized ergonomically-designed chair presented in Milan at the Ventura Lambrate during this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile. 'Clinker' pendant light by Rich Brilliant Willing for Innermost

The New York-based multidisciplinary design studio Rich Brilliant Willing whose name derives from the beginning syllables of its three founders’ names: Theo Richardson, Charles Brill and Alexander Williams, created the ‘Clinker’ pendant light for the British label Innermost. The wood-and-glass design follows the circular ‘Clinker’ coffee table RBW created for the same manufacturer in 2009 and the lamp was on view during this year’s Milan Salone del Mobile. (more…)

'Volume' one-seater sofa by Outofstock Design for Foundry

The international design collective Outofstock has created this ‘Volume’ series of top-heavy sofas and a console, which was presented as part of Singapore-based label Foundry’s exhibition at this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile.

UK-based manufacturer Race Furniture launched a re-edition of several iconic designs of Ernest Race as part of the ‘Design Junction’ exhibition in Zona Tortona during this year’s Salone del Mobile. (more…)

Eileen Gray's iconic hand-lacquered 'Brick Screen' has been reproduced by ClassiCon
