Leading quartz manufacturer Caesarstone returns to Palazzo Serbelloni to unveil “Stone Age Folk” by Jaime Hayon, the pinnacle event of their year-long collaboration with the world renowned Spanish designer for the 2017 Designer Collaboration Programme. Inspired by flora, fauna and folklore from different cultures, Jaime Hayon designed an architectural pavilion, which references the famous Crystal Palace built in Hyde Park, London for the Great Exhibition of 1851, combining over 48 Caesarstone colours with metal and stained glass.Within the historical backdrop of the Palazzo’s Ballroom, Caesarstone’s quartz material is meticulously handcrafted and implanted into the metal frame of the pavilion as a precious jewel within Hayon’s whimsical Caesarstone universe. The renowned Spanish designer and artist Jaime Hayón has collaborated with the Danish furniture brand &tradition on a new chair design whose prototype was presented at Spazio Hayón in Milan’s Ventura Lambrate. Inspired by ‘the harmony of curves’, the chair’s curvilinear, injection-moulded shell is available in variety of colours and materials: ‘from a basic naked shell to quality Kvadrat wool upholstery and a luxurious leather alternative.’ (more…)

The Spanish designer Jaime Hayón designed this new sofa for the Danish venerable manufacturer Fritz Hansen. On the occasion of this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile Fritz Hansen will prensent ‘Favn’, available in ten different colour combinations, at its showroom in Milan on Corso Garibaldi, 77.

The Italian company Bisazza, especially known for its wide range of highly exclusive mosaics and tiles, debuts at this year’s ISH fair in Frankfurt with ‘Bisazza Bagno’ – a new bathroom collection. The Spanish design harlequin Jaime Hayón, who clearly shares certain aesthetic and stylistic values with the Italian brand was entrusted with the design of the first collection – collaborations with an array of internationally recognized designers will follow.


Jaime Hayón's new collection for Kutani Choemon

The Spanish designer Jaime Hayón recently unveiled the new porcelain collection he designed in collaboration with the Japanese products design studio Maruwakaya for Kutani Choemon. The Japanese traditional porcelain company produces handmade tableware for over 130 years.
