Italian design brand Casamania has previewed a new chair by designer and architect Fabio Novembre. Inspired by the car brand Abarth (the auto-sport division of Fiat), the piece is suggestive of automobile design in both its form and choice of materials.
Polycarbonate and die-cast aluminium are used to express dynamic lines that refer to the speed and aerodynamics associated with car-racing. The seat element sits on a reverse cantilever base. The chair will be shown in April at the Milan Furniture Fair as part of Casamania’s new collection.
