Ionna Vautrin's sketch for 'Musette'

Known for her penchant for subtle, pared-down and frequently round or soft-cornered forms, French designer Ionna Vautrin has created this simple multifunctional table-cum-storage-cum-tray for the Danish manufacturer De Vorm. Presented earlier in April at De Vorm’s exhibition in Zona Tortona’s Via Novi 5, ‘Musette’ has been inspired by ‘the oriental tables which are used during the tea ceremony’. (more…)

'Pod' chair by Benjamin Hubert for De Vorm

Anyone who has ever worked in an open-plan office knows that privacy and seclusion can be scarce within this now ubiquitous work environment. With this in mind, young British designer Benjamin Hubert has created ‘Pod’, an oversized ergonomically-designed chair presented in Milan at the Ventura Lambrate during this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile. 'Clip Chair' by Sebastian Herkner for De Vorm

The German designer Sebastian Herkner will present the result of his first collaboration with the Dutch manufacturer De Vorm at Ventura Lambrate during this year’s Salone del Mobile. The classic, detail-oriented ‘Clip Chair’ is basically made from selected, high-quality ash. A vinyl clip connects the backrest to the legs.
