One of the most well-respected design awards in the interior design sector, the 2015 Interior Innovation Award, has been awarded to Nina Mair for the solid wood Shell bathtub.



Both the bath and the ‘Menhir’ wash basin are free-standing, highly sculptural pieces that provide an arresting focal point within any bathroom space

When it came to launching their latest family of products, high-end Swiss bathroom manufacturer decided to buck the trend for the ultra-rational and focus on building on the softer, timeless design language of its earlier Palomba collection. Now, we are still quite not sure under what category this post falls (Inspirations? or should it be Products?) but we have just received the rather baffling news that this curiously-shaped bathtub by the Italian manufacturer Rapsel has magically disappeared from the stand at Cersaie fair in Bologna. 'Level 45' bathroom system by Naghi Habib for Falper

Architect and designer Naghi Habib has created an innovative bathroom system for manufacturer Falper called ‘Level 45’. The ‘pulpit element’, as the company’s promotional copy puts it, acts as unifying element, running at a height of 48mm throughout the various bathroom elements, acting as case, support and seat.

The Italian company Bisazza, especially known for its wide range of highly exclusive mosaics and tiles, debuts at this year’s ISH fair in Frankfurt with ‘Bisazza Bagno’ – a new bathroom collection. The Spanish design harlequin Jaime Hayón, who clearly shares certain aesthetic and stylistic values with the Italian brand was entrusted with the design of the first collection – collaborations with an array of internationally recognized designers will follow.
