The Danish manufacturer Dinesen is a traditional brand for high quality plank floors. Founded in 1898 the company is still owned an managed by the same family. The uncomparable, imposingly wide and long planks Dinesen use for their floorings are made from European wood, from trees which are between 80 and 120 years old.

One of the last projects Dinesen realised was the plank floor for the re-opened Saatchi Gallery in London – a sponsoring of 5,000 m2 of Douglas fir flooring. This investment reflects Dinesen’s considerable growth in the UK in 2009.
