The Italian manufacturer Paola Lenti, which is famous for its sophisticated flooring and fabrics, presented a new collection of carpets this year in Milan. ‘Shang’ is a rug for interior and exterior environments. This exquisite rug is hand made with a two-colour Rope braid, a Paola Lenti signature material.
The Swedish designer trio Claesson Koivisto Rune created ‘Kaleidoscope’ – this rug consists of the repetition of one base module. With over 50 colours available, it is possible to create either floral or geometric patterns with a three-dimensional perspective.
‘Loom’ by the German designer Axel Russmeyer is a rug for interior and exterior environments.
Axel Russmeyer, well known for his exclusive and unique jewellery, enters the interior design world with this rug, a result of his technical knowledge and sense of proportion.
Flat braids in Paola Lenti’s signature Rope yarn are interwoven entirely by hand on silicone rings to create this precious contemporary object.
A three dimensional structure is created by using materials with different thickness and volume, giving it extraordinary strength while being as transparent as lace.
