'Target' by Nendo for Arketipo
The young Japanese office Nendo was definitly one of the stars at this year´s Salone del Mobile. Also for the Italian manufacturer Arketipo they designed a couple of extraordinary objects.
The bookcase ‘Target’ for instance with a supporting unit composed of small crosses that seem to multiply infinitely. The crosses change from being distinct signs into a blurred but regular whole when books are placed on them.

‘Moya’ is a serie of minimal tables in two dimensions made of rigid polyurethane, with tops in extra-clear glass. An optical illusion of infinity achieved by the transparency of the top on a semi-spherical base.
