Made for the entrance hall of a typical Berlin flat, Sebastián Erazo Fischer’s mixed-use units are made to sit, take shoes off, store them, as well as hang coats and store other daily life accessories.
The units feature removable beech hooks fixed through wedges, drawers that run on wooden slides, and are built solely with pine wood without knots, and glued joints.
Adds the designer, “The final treatment of surfaces consist on a mix of natural waxes (Carnauba and Bee Wax), which is micro-porous (allowing the wood to breathe, moisture can evaporate), and gives the surface resistance to water, dirt, and common household substances, plus giving it a clear satin finish that accentuates the grain and texture of the wood.”
