New on Architonic.com, ‘Marie’ is a common beanbag transformed thanks to a sophisticated geometric structure designed by Antoinette Bader, an outer cover composed of triangular padded sections that allows for a range of seating positions.
“The form of the product is generated by the cooperation of hard and soft parts.” says Bader. “The upper part of the cover is structured by firm padded triangles, which are flexibly interconnected. The inside is filled with polystyrene pellets. The triangular arrangement defines it’s specific aesthetic shapes and adopts various sitting positions.”
Furniture label Frei Frau was awarded the “Interior Innovation Award – Winner 2012” for this versatile piece of seating furniture.
