Originally designed in 1945 during his time in America, architect Ferdinand Kramer’s FK12 FORTYFORTY stackable side table is a significant example of his “fascination with variability and adaptability of multi-purpose furniture.” says German furniture brand e15.
At imm cologne, e15 has launched re-editions of Kramer’s side table in addition to his FK10 Weissenhof armchair, FK09 Westhausen sofa, and FK11 Senckenburg daybed (also seen in these images). The playful FK12 FORTYFORTY has removable and invertible trays for top and bottom of the frame in coloured steel or marble offering a multitude of possibilities.
Stackable to up to five, the table “expresses lightness and elegance despite its strict geometrical shape.”
