The opening of a new gallery space at the internationally renowned Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany – called, quite literally, the Vitra Design Museum Gallery – sees an exhibition of Memphis legend Ettore Sottsass’s lesser known work in enamel from the late 1950s. Curated by Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari, the show also features related drawings.

The Vitra Design Museum Gallery is dedicated to small exhibitions of contemporary, experimental or unfamiliar design work, and, like the rest of the museum, is designed by architect Frank Gehry.
