“Also featured throughout the city of Leipzig are design exhibitions by local participants (“DO/Spots”). For the first time, the Designers’ Open fair is divided: into the sections of “DO / Market” and “DO / Industry.” “DO/Market“ predominantly addresses end-consumers and design fans. Interior and fashion design products can be purchased. The “DO/Industry“ part’s primary aim is to address professional visitors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the local industry. Recent interior, industrial and communication design works and projects by design collectives, individual exhibitors and universities will be presented as well. On Friday night, the DO/ Jury Awards will again be presented to the three winners for their excellent design concepts.”
