‘Small and exclusive’ is how neue räume (or ‘new spaces’) curator Stefan Zwicky describes Zurich’s biennial design fair that has become a must-visit destination in the international trade-fair calendar. Known for its quality staging, the 2015 edition – which runs from 18 to 22 November – sees over 100 national and international manufacturers of both classic and new products take up temporary residence in the architectural grande dame that is the old ABB production hall in the city’s Oerlikon district.
Architecture is placed firmly centre-stage this time round, with the fair’s main theme ‘Meuble – Immeuble’ exploring the dynamic relation between furniture and interiors on the one hand and residential architecture on the other. Visitors will be also be treated to special shows and projects, in addition to the top-drawer brands who’ve been selected to exhibit.
All roads lead to Zurich in November…
