'Volume.MGX' by Dror for .MGX by Materialise
The namesake interdisciplinary practice of Dror Benshetrit has created this highly-sculptural limited edition light for 3D printing specialists, the Belgian brand .MGX by Materialise. Created as a single piece, the cubic lamp is composed from an intricate, polyamide net of hounders of interlocking squares ‘which when lit, provide both a bright, warm glow in its center, and a cooler, darker feeling around its edges.’ Watch the collapsible design come to life in the video below.
