Jose Manuel Ferrero, the young Valencian designer and founder of estudi{H}ac practice has recently realised this family of white, large-scale lamps for the Spanish outdoor furniture specialists Vondom. Exhibited in September during the Feria Hábitat Valencia fair, the collection of sculptural, mushroom-like lights also provided an impressive focal point of a striking, site-specific outdoor installation ‘Un Bosque de Luz’ – Spanish for ‘A Forest of Light’ presented during the fair outside Hotel Ingles.

Made of polyethylene resin, the soft-glowing lamps feature a subtle diamond-pattern texture and employ the LED technology which allows the user to choose between seven different colour settings in either static or dynamic mode ‘for a kaleidoscope of continuously changing colour.’
