'Jack Black' by Tom Dixon for Tom Dixon
There are many reasons for reissuing a design, but getting your hands on the original tool to make it is as good as any. Armed once more with the tooling that he himself fashioned back in the day in his own workshop, Tom Dixon has launched a black companion piece to his iconic, stackable ‘Jack Light’ (the latter manufactured by Eurolounge), whose colour serves to emphasise the product’s strongly graphic form. Made from plastic and rotary-moulded, ‘Jack Black’ can be used as seating or as an accessory, and comes without a light.

'Offcut' by Tom Dixon
During this year’s London Design Festival the Britsh designer and manufacturer Tom Dixon will launch this new wooden stool.
The ‘Offcut ‘stool’s elementary form is the result of several innovations; the circular round seat makes clever use of the curved offcuts, its construction requires no additional screws or glue, and the stool is flat packed for ease of delivery. It is available in natural and fluoro.
The new Tom Dixon collcetion will be exhibited during the London Design Festival 21-27 Septmber 2009 in the Wharf Building, Portobello Dock, 344 Ladbroke Grove, W10 5BU.

'Screw Table' by Tom Dixon
Some of the novelties Tom Dixon showed during the Design Week in Milan at the famous Superstudio Più refer to the roots of the British designer, who made his name in the 1980s with rough, self-made, welded furniture.
The ‘Screw Table’, for example, sartorially combines an industrial look with high-class materials.
Made from a cast iron tripod base with a white marble top, the industrial strength of the aluminium screw enables multiple heights by simply spinning the top.
