‘lilla ateljen’ collection by Haruka Furuyama Design & Craft
Haruka Furuyama has created a furniture collection dedicated to a house used as an atelier by Swedish painter William Nording. Nording was a central figure in the ‘vicklebyskolan’ (Vickleby school) artist community, which was known for the unique light found in Vickleby, Sweden.

‘Pinus Pinaster’ Cheese Cover and Tray by Fabien Barrero-Carsenat
Fabien Barrero-Carsenat’s ‘Pinus Pinaster’ (aka the Maritime Pine) collection is an exploration of resin. It all started when Barrero-Carsenat was wandering through a pine forest in the south of France and brown droplets of resin shining in the sunlight.

‘Chromatic’ furniture fabric by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Väveriet
Swedish multidisciplinary design/architecture office Claesson Koivisto Rune were inspired by silk, “the way some fine silks have a delicate gradient dichromatic feature” for their ‘Chromatic’ furniture fabric collection.

‘Cape’ chair by Nendo for Offecct
The appearance of a cape neatly draped over a chair is the illusion of ‘Cape’, a chair by Japanese designer Nendo for Offecct. The product of carefully molded wood set on an extremely light structure, Cape is a complex chair with ultra-thin dimensions thanks in part to a collaboration between Offecct and Swedish Steel AB in the development of new steel materials.

‘Poetry of Light’ chocolate lamp by Alexander Lervik
Unlike most lamps, Alexander Lervik’s Poetry of Light lamp is completely dark when first turned on. Until it melts, and the light that emerges mimics the light spreading along the horizon at sunrise.

An orb is an unexpected, typically circular artifact that occurs in flash photography, it’s also the name and the inspiration for Orbs, a series of light fixtures to be presented by Blond Belysning at the 2013 Stockholm Furniture Fair.
