'Nivis' by Andrea Morgante, SHIRO STUDIO for Agape

‘Nivis’ is the one of the most recent creations of the Italian manufacturer Agape. Made from a solid white mass of Cristalplant® – a composite material which consists mainly of natural minerals mixed with a low percentage of polyester and acrylic polymers – the washbasin has two inter-connected cavities, with water running from the main, larger and deeper cavity to the smaller one which has an overflow outlet hole.

'Nabhi' modular marble wash-stands by Kreoo

Kreoo is the new label of the Italian manufacturer Decormarmi, a historic Italian company specialised in marble and stone processing. With Nabhi, designed by Enzo Berti, Kreoo launched a new series of modular wash-stands, composed of a tray and a basin. The elements come in various shapes and marbles and are adaptable to different sub-structures. Kreoo will be present at this year’s Abitare Il Tempo from 16 -19 September in Verona, Italy. (more…)

Washbasin 'Axor Bouroullec' for Axor Hansgrohe

Founded in 1901 in a small town in the Black Forest the German manufacturer Hansgrohe proved to be one of the most experienced specialists for sanitary accessories. In 2001 Philippe Grohe, grandson of the founder Hans Grohe, launched the Hansgrohe design label Axor and got celebrated designers such as Antonio Citterio, Philippe Starck and Patricia Urquiola on board. This year Axor Hansgrohe presents a new collection designed by the Paris based design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. ‘Axor Bouroullec’ consists of 85 items including different sorts of basins, mixers and solutions for the bathtub and the shower areas.

'Nastro' by Ritmonio

At this year’s Cersaie – the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings – the North Italian manufacturer Ritmonio presented this family of tabs designed by the Monaco-based Peter Jamieson. ‘Nastro’ (italian for ‘ribbon’) lives up to its name: the twisted line characterises the graceful appearance of the fittings.
