‘Elysée’ armchairs by Pierre Paulin reissued by Ligne Roset

The French furniture manufacturer Ligne Roset has reissued this bold seating collection originally created by the late, much-acclaimed designer Pierre Paulin for the presidential Elysée Palace. Comprising an armchair, a footstool and a small settee model, ‘Elysée’ series has been reconstructed from Paulin’s plans using new materials such as multi-density polyurethane foam for increased comfort and durability. The range, which initially was developed in muted oatmeal shades, has now been released in vividly coloured wools and each of the models can also be upholstered in leather. (more…)
