Presented in brand’s own showroom at Design Post during this year’s edition of imm cologne, ‘Cyborg‘ is now available in two different versions: entirely made of polycarbonate or with polycarbonate legs and seat and a contrasting wicker back. 'Shangrila' multiscreen by Florian Asche for april allterior
German designer Florian Asche has created this pared-down adjustable screen for the Frankfurt-based brand april allterior which he co-founded in 2009. Taking its name from the fictional Himalayan utopia depicted in James Hilton’s 1933 novel ‘Lost Horizon’, the ‘Shangrila’ screen, just like the mystical land, provides privacy and isolation from its immediate surroundings while the stainless steel frame and acrylic fibre used in the production of the screen make the design durable and suitable for any weather conditions. Just in time for summer, British designer Matthew Hilton has created a new range of simple outdoor furniture for the London-based manufacturer Case Furniture. 'Twin' chair by Archirivolto for Brunner
Italian design studio Archirivolto has collaborated with one of Germany’s leading contract furniture manufacturers Brunner, creating this lightweight monobloc chair called ‘Twin’ which was presented earlier this year at Milan’s Salone del Mobile. The curvilinear, stackable chair is made from the weather-resistant reinforced polypropylene and is available in multiple summery shades such as citrus, apple, ruby or sand, in a mesh or closed-shell structure version, and with or without armrests.
