
‘Aura’ sofa by Mikko Laakkonen for Inno
Helsinki-based designer Mikko Laakkonen has realised this boldly-coloured two-seater sofa for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Inno. Due to be presented next month at the upcoming edition of Habitare design fair (12 – 16 September), the upholstered ‘Aura’ features a simple, exposed steel frame and a raised back for increased privacy. 'Kola' by Mikko Laakkonen for Inno
The Finnish manufacturer Inno recently launched this multi-purpose chair by Mikko Laakkonen. ‘Kola’ is composed of a light and simple epoxycoated or chromed steel base in which a seat shell made from moulded 100 % recyclable polyesther felt is fitted.

'Eno' by Mikko Laakkonen for Covo
The manifold portofolio of Covo reflects the broad variety of designers the Italian manufacturer engages. This year they presented this new chair created by the Finnish designer Mikko Laakkonen. ‘Eno’ is inspired by the classic archetype of the sitting of the north of Europe, where the solidity of the wood is the formal matrix.
