'In Loving Memory – the Lamborghini Countach'
On the occasion of the DMY Festival in Berlin, the Appel Design Gallery opened two rather different exhibitions. With ‘In Loving Memory the Lamborghini Countach’ the Swiss designer Martin Meier expresses his love to the ‘goddess of all super cars’. Martin applied the design language of the Lamborghini Countach to other design classics – pure styling on almost pure function.

'Panettone' the Lamborghini version of the Panton Chair
The second exhibition ‘Conceptual Substance’ showcases 9 international designers, all based in Berlin – what they have in common is that they are all doubters, questioners, storytellers and rebels – designers who are trying to relieve themselves from the usual menchanism of industrial design and who are searching for alternatives to what ‘Design’ is today.
Among others there are pieces of Jerszy Seymour, El Ultimo Grito, Bless, osko+deichmann and Judith Seng.
Until 27th June, Appel Design Gallery, Torstrasse 114, 10119 Berlin
