This year’s novelties of the Swedish manufacturer Källemo are especially characterised by playful and colour-accentuated details. 'Armadillo' by Källemo

'Armadillo' by Källemo

The Swedish designer Jakob Thau, originally trained as a carpenter, created this light upholstered armchair for Källemo. ‘Armadillo’ consists of of a steel frame or a swivel base in chrome or powder paint. The seat is made of aeroplane plywood, which is smartly bent into three dimensional shape. The cover of the upholstery is made of sheep skin.
