Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini, the Italian design duo behind Milan-based Studio Klass have collaborated with the curved glass furniture specialists Fiam on the design of this simple, geometrical side table. Called ‘Magique’, the cuboid, semi-transparent piece features multiple intersecting shelves and the design is made of 10 mm welded glass which is available in a variety of finishes such as transparent glass or smoked grey. ‘Byobu’ table by Nendo for Moroso
Known for their minimalist, pared down aesthetics, Oki Sato’s much-acclaimed Tokyo-based practice Nendo has realised this collection of geometrical glass tables for the Italian manufacturer Moroso. Inspired, and named after the traditional Japanese screen, ‘Byobu’ comprises one circular and one rectangular model, each of which is composed of a translucent glass tabletop supported by an asymmetrical frame in either black or white finish. The acclaimed Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola has recently collaborated with the Italian glass specialists Glas Italia on this vividly-coloured dining table design called ‘Crossing.’ Made of tempered transparent, extremely light glass, the asymmetric table is available in two sizes and in two different patterns.
