Orgatec 2012 as seen by Architonic

The latest edition of Orgatec – the biennial design fair for all things office, which took place from 23 to 27 October – had a rather positive atmosphere about it. 'Everyday table' by Linea1

The German Design Council curated – at this year’s Milan Fair for the second time – an exhibition focused on outstanding contemporary German design. Alongside with products of namable German brands there will be prototypes created by young German designers, such as Mark Braun, llot llov and Formfjord. Design Deutschland 2011 will be on show at Carrozzeria in Via Tortona 32.

2. Prize from 2007, 'Naturelle' by Claudia Bombsch

Together with the German Design Council the A.S. Création Tapetenstiftung (wallpaper foundation) calls for entries for their competition “New walls, please!”. Students and young designers and architects can submit their proposals for wallpaper design, modular systems, panels and visionary ideas for wall design until 31st August, 2009. The designs are independent of format, raster, rapport shape, colour, material technique and technology.
