Named after Greek mythological goddesses, ‘Akté, Augé, Nymphé’ is a three-piece collection of freestanding mirrors developed by the Parisian-based designer Samuel Accoceberry. Manufactured by the young French furniture brand Marcel By, the striking, multifaceted pieces can be used horizontally or vertically and come in three different sizes and finishes such as gold, bronze and black. ‘Republica’ chair by Patrick Norguet for Drucker

The Parisian product designer Patrick Norguet has realised the ‘Republica’ chair for the manufacturer of classic French bistro furniture Drucker. Speaking of this collaboration and his recent design Norguet says: ‘Republica is above all the desire to seek out our history, several years ago I discovered the firm Drucker and its history. ‘Polka’ table lamp by Florent Coirier

The Parisian-based designer Florent Coirier has recently unveiled his latest table lamp design called ‘Polka.’ Exhibited for the first time during this year’s edition of the Paris Design Week, the simple turned-oak light incorporates the LED technology while its concealed pivoting joint enables full 360 degree rotation of the lamp. This bold, geometric office building located in Barcelona was completed in 2009 by the award-winning Parisian architect and his namesake studio Dominique Perrault Architecture. Boasting 12 offices, two commercial spaces and four underground car park levels, the glass-clad building is composed of 12 storeys and its floor area totals 18.188 square meters. (more…)

A Parisian architectural practice Atelier Christian de Portzamparc, led by the Pritzker Prize-winning Christian de Portzamparc, have realised this dynamic, concrete-clad winery located in the historical southwestern French commune of Saint-Émilion. A new home to the producer of one of the region’s finest wines, Château Cheval Blanc, the 5250-square-meters building blends seamlessly with its hilly surroundings and boasts 52 concrete vats, a wine barrel cellar, a tasting room, several workshops and office spaces as well as a beautifully lit, adjacent terraced garden. ‘Moire’ lamp by Marc Sarrazin for Petite Friture

Known for their playful, out-of-ordinary collections, the French design company Petite Friture has collaborated with young Parisian designer Marc Sarrazin on this series of mesh lamps called ‘Moire’. Available in three sizes and two colours, the light can be either hung as a pendant, used as a floor or table lamp, or fixed to a wall. ‘Moire’ was presented as part of Petite Friture’s new collection at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan.
