The Stockholm-based design studio Form Us With Love have collaborated with a recently-launched small Swedish design brand TID on its first product – a wristwatch. Aptly named ‘The No.1′, the minimalist, monochrome timepiece is made of stainless steel and encompasses a Japanese-made quartz clockwork fastened onto a simple woven nylon strap. (more…)
The Stockholm-based award-winning design studio Form Us With Love have developed this collection of geometrical sound-absorbing wall panels for a small, family-owned company Träullit. Made from a natural, recyclable material composed of wood wool, cement and water, ‘Hexagon’ tiles have not only sound-absorbing qualities but are also moisture-regulating and heat-accumulating. Available in eight different colours, ‘Hexagon’ was recently presented as part of the ‘Young Sweden’ exhibition during the London Design Festival. Watch the FUWL designers apply their new sound absorbing wall panels in the video below: (more…)
John Löfgren, Jonas Pettersson and Petrus Palmér, the trio behind Sweden’s award-winning design studio Form Us With Love have revisited and reinterpreted one of the most universally recognised archetypes, the light bulb. As a result, a neat 3-piece collection of white semi-opaque mouth-blown
glass pendants is now being produced by Design House Stockholm. Pared-down yet decidedly eye-catching, ’Form Pendans’ were also exhibited at ‘Form Us With Friends’ exhibition which was on show at The Swedish Museum of Architecture during this year’s edition of Stockholm Design Week.
Form Us With Love and Spanish stone company Cosentino present a project exploring the quartz surface Silestone. Silestone Slab Vases were showed at the exhibition Form Us With Friends at the Swedish Museum of Architecture during Stockholm Design Week. The project aims to break away from the familiar slab form and explore the material’s tactile dimension.
In an attempt to ‘bridge the gap between high-design and flatpack furniture’, the Stockholm-based design studio Form Us With Love have developed this series of semiflat-packable furniture in collaboration with a new Scandinavian brand, One Nordic Furniture Company. Named after the Japanese slang word for ‘convenient’ as well as the Finnish tradition of bentwood, the pared-down design of ‘Bento’ features characteristic broad legs and both of the products; the chair as well as the table (available in three different sizes), can be easily assembled in few steps, with no need of additional tools or manuals. The collection will be launched during next week’s Stockholm Design Week 2012 (6 – 12 February) at ‘Form Us With Friends’ exhibition at The Swedish Museum of Architecture.
The young Swedish designer trio Form Us With Love realised this new pendant light which serves, due to its acoustic characteristics as well as a sound barrier. The lamp shade is made from modular felt panels, which can be assembled on site making ‘Hood’ a flat pack product.
The Swedish design practice Form Us With Love recently unveiled their design for the ‘Dandy’ exhibition at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. The exhibition examines this 18th and early 19th century’s lifestyle and presents the details that makes the typical Dandy.
