'EJ-555 Frame' by Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen for Erik Jørgensen
Erik Jørgensen is one of the many Scandinavian companys which was founded in the mid century when Scandinavian design started to obtain worldwide glory. ‘EJ-555 Frame’, designed by the Copenhagen based duo Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen, is one of the newest sofas by the Danish manufacturer.
'In Duplo Low' by Erik Jørgensen
It seems like an homage to the old Scandinavian classics from the early 1950’s. The Danish manufacturer Erik Jørgensen presented this new highly elegant sofa series, designed by Anne-Mette Bartholin Jensen and Morten Ernst at this year’s Stockholm Fair. Each sofa, ‘In Duplo High and Low’, consists of a wing shaped corpus that holds a composition of cushions. Like in a stone circle where each element is modified and finds its natural bearing.
