The namesake interdisciplinary practice of Dror Benshetrit has created this highly-sculptural limited edition light for 3D printing specialists, the Belgian brand .MGX by Materialise. The seat is created entirely of a single sheet of felt
It is the first time the Italian manufacturer Cappellini is collaborating with the New York based designer Dror Benshetrit. The very smart application of two-tone felt has made it possible to achieve a soft and elastic seat without the use of the usual upholstery materials, such as foam or springs. ‘Peacock’ is entirely created of a single sheet of felt wrapped over a minimal metal base varnished in dark brown.
