The sixth Designers’ Open drew to a close recently in Leipzig. More than 10,000 visitors, among them a great deal of press and trade members, flocked to the Hotel de Pologne, with its imposing interiors, as well as to the venerable Kretschmanns Hof, where more than 150 international designers exhibited their current work from the fields of interior, fashion, industrial and communications design in the usual relaxed atmosphere.

With its number of disused old buildings, unbeatable low rents and its comprehensive cultural offer Leipzig is definitly one of the hubs of Germany’s creative scene.
From 29 – 31 October the 6th Designers’ Open will take place at two marvelous venues in the centre of Leipzig showcasing the newest works of almost 250 designers in the field of interior, industrial, fashion, and communication design. The exhibition is accompanied by a wide programme of lectures, film screenings and workshops.
