Achille Castiglioni's 'Sancarlo' sofa and armchair, produced by Tacchini and presented in early October in the designer's Milan studio

Last month, design brand Tacchini, which earlier this year reissued three striking furniture designs by Castiglioni – his ‘Sancarlo’ armchair and sofa, and his ‘Babela’ stacking chair – exhibited these new-old pieces in remarkable Milan atelier, itself a piece of 20th-century design history.
Here are some photographs of the work in situ.
