In these economically uncertain times, planners and consumers are thinking now more than ever about the longevity of furniture and more specifically, the option of adding to them or reconfiguring them at a later stage built into the design. Architonic looks at some of the new and innovative furniture programmes, modular in nature, that were shown alongside augmented and reworked favourites at the 2013 Cologne fair.
