Three young Norwegian designers and university friends: Simen Aarseth, Christoffer Angell and Øyvind Wyller have developed this minimalist, uniformly-black table-cum-lamp called ‘Station.’ As a modular system, ‘Station’ can be adjusted to be used at different heights – as a coffee table or a working desk which is individually illuminated by a conveniently-located light source.
More about the design:
‘Station is both a table and a lamp. The beam of light is framed by steel tubes, and directed towards the table top. Station is a modular system, it works in different heights. This series of workstations provides a framework for a variety of different situations. Each table defines its own space, both by its light source and the constructive elements.’
