'Doodle' rug by Paola Navone for Kasthall

Paola Navone is probably one of the most famous Italian interior architects and designers. She designed a new rug collection for Swedish manufacturer Kasthall, which es presented at Salone del Mobile 2012.

The deep shade of blue that has become Paola Navone’s signature is combined with bold graphic design and motifs from cultures around the world.

The motifs are printed on pure wool carpets which are characterised by different weavings that underline the print pattern and create an interaction between motif and texture. An outstanding piece is the ‘Doodle’ Carpet, which has been handtufted in wool and linnen.
