Simulating a constant downpour of rain, Swiss architects Burkard Meyer in collaboration with Konform AG have created an innovative installation for the showroom of bathroom furniture company Talsee consisting of hundreds of silver-coloured chains hanging from the ceiling.

“The varying lengths of the chains (the longest measures 7.80 meters) form a ‘rain passage’ that separates the different functions of the showroom, creating a ‘room’ inside each one.” says KriskaDECOR. “The lighting creates a surreal and magical ambiance.”

In addition to creating a new modular system for the project, per the architect’s creative brief, KriskaDECOR also developed an installation system specific to the space.
