In future, digital IDs are supposed to ensure a person’s verifiability with the help of biometrical data. Passport photographs have so far served as a simple means of identification and are supposed to become depersonalized in the future. This development gives reason to deal with personal identity in the public sphere.
The project Personal Codes by Designer Markus J. Becker and his sister Kristin Becker, a photographer, wants to describe the interface between digital photography and relief.
Their aim was to show the levels of abstraction in personal digital distortion and to make them haptically perceivable.
