The smooth but imperfect shape of a pebble was the inspiration for ‘Pebble’, a series of three stackable bowls by Oki Sato, founder of Nendo studio, for Italesse.

Created for the 2013 Italesse professional collection, Sato’s design derives its aesthetic impact from material-like lines mixed with the use of contemporary shades, where colour/non-colour black and white counterbalance the more intense solar orange.
