From 29 October – 02 November a number of Oslo based designers will showcase their designed interpretation based upon personal stories, representing an individual perception of Oslo at this year’s Design Tide in Tokyo.
“By making objects inspired by each designers individual appreciation of their hometown, they have made a collection of stories, which they have brought to Tokyo on a mission to exchange design culture.
Each designer shares a personal story from Oslo, the exhibition shows how the story led to their design. It is through the exhibition framework that the stories behind the product is communicated, and not necessarily the product itself.”
“The exhibiting designers are: Jonas Stokke, Oystein Austad, Oyvind Wyller, Espen Voll, Torbjorn Anderssen, Vibeke Skar, Eva Marit Toftum, Silje Softing, Simen Aarseth, Christoffer Angell, Petter Skogstad, Hallgeir Homstvedt, Carl Gurgens and Henrik Fjeldberg.”
