'offcut' by Edwards Moore

The Melbourne based architecture and design practice Edwards Moore created this barstool made from reclaimed timber off-cuts compressed by a tension belt. The perfectly even top, finished with linseed oil putty and wax, builds a contrast to the rough and unregular composition. ‘offcut’ was designed as part of this year’s currently ongoing State of Design Festival in Melbourne.
