Italian design brand Bonaldo has introduced new versions of its award winning ‘Octa’ table, designed by Bartoli Design, now also available with a round table top and with a rectangular extending table top.
Originally presented in 2013, and bestowed a Good Design Award that year, Octa takes its name from its eight legs.
“Inspired by the game of Mikado pick-up sticks and made of bent and welded metal rods, the legs are the true stars of the project, lending the table an unusual visual lightness, in addition to great solidity and stability.” says Bonaldo.
“The version with the round table top is ideal to furnish and adorn the most stylish of living rooms. The new extending version, which is available with glass, lacquered wood and Canaletto walnut tops, accommodates the needs of a new way of designing the living room: indeed, thanks to a simple mechanism, the table top extends on either side to create additional seating.”
