'Nightshade' outdoor lighting by Beat Karrer for Burri
The Swiss manufacturer Burri recently launched this discreet but extremely efficient outdoor LED lamp, designed by the Swiss designer Beat Karrer. The smartness of ‘Nightshade’ resides in the newly developed principle of controlling the light – it minimizes light contamination and achieves a high efficiency as well as a targeted light distribution. Like this – and this is most essential for outdoor lighting – ‘Nightshade’ illuminates and directs, without blinding.
