“The elegant austerity of Tonelli design glass and the cosy warmth of Alpi wood are combined through a new technology based on the use of compounds and adhesives to ‘veneer glass’.” says Tonelli.

“Veneering glass is, first of all, a challenge and a dream to be realised. The idea is to combine two ancient materials that are the opposite of one another; one is cold and the other is warm, one is smooth and perfect and the other is rough and perfect in its imperfection. All this has led to the creation of furniture that is surprising in many ways, which, thanks to mirror-like surfaces, creates optical effects with a continuous play of reflections and lights” adds Matteo Ragni.

Mirage consists of two low tables with a rectangular and square top, a night table, and a console.
