‘PAST / FUTURE: Enzo Mari and contemporary Italian design’ is an exhibition inspired by the noted Italian modernist designer. Curated by Vincenzo Basile with Maddalena Grassi Polito, the Fuorisalone event intends to display the “common thread [that] links together the tradition of Italian craftmanship, the quality of the project, from the Masters to the new players of today.” say the organizers.

Works by Paolo Ulian, Donata Paruccini, Lorenzo Damiani, Massimiliano Adami, Antonio Cos, Giorgio Bonaguro, and Cristina Celestino will be on display. “Precious materials and technological research; handmade blown glass and marble productions; bronze and other traditional materials and high-tech materials; craftsmanship and innovation; all these elements characterize products in limited editions and unique pieces”.
PAST / FUTURE opens on April 8 at Amaranto in the Carlton Hotel Baglioni, Milan and runs through to April 14 during Milan Design Week 2013.
