'Malva' by ett la benn
The Berlin based designers of ett la benn will soon be showcasing their lighting series ‘Malva’ at Appel Design Gallery.
The manufacturing process of the lamp shades are inspired by the natural qualities of cellulose and viscose: the objects are generated by the forming of moistened sponge cloth and its subsequent hardening by air drying on a mould.

The exhibition will be open from 5 June – 2 July, 2010 at Appel Design Gallery, Torstrasse 114, Berlin.
