The acclaimed, Stockholm-based design trio Claesson Koivisto Rune have recently collaborated with the Italian furniture brand Tacchini on this collection of large, upholstered sofas and armchairs called ‘Lima‘. Similarly to the ‘Montevideo‘ model, also designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune in 2008, ‘Lima’ features a generously-sized seat based atop delicate, thin-legged frame. The collection was unveiled in April during Milan’s Salone del Mobile fair.
More about the collection:
‘A system consisting of sofas and armchairs in different sizes, with a markedly sleek shape to receive the body nicely. Extra comfort is given by the large lumbar supporting cushion on the ample seat. Elegantly thin are the feet at the base of the frame, adding a touch of dynamism to the coziness.’
