The energy and tension found in bows is put to service in ‘Kyudo’, a lightweight, collapsible coat stand by Francisco Gomez Paz.

“Kyudo in Japanese means ‘the way of the bow’.” says Gomez Paz. “Inspired in the structural logics of the bow, Kyudo is a coat stand made of three metal arcs that never touch one with the other but are hold in tension with the use of technical ropes. The result is an essential and remarkably strong structure, lightweight and intelligent, it can be folded out for both shipping and storage.”
